Near Barchi find a lot of nice villages and towns, you can make beautiful walks, enjoy great food in one of the many restaurants or have a lazy day on the beach and all within half an hour from La Giravolta.

Beaches

At half an hour from La Giravolta find the beaches of Fano, Torette, Marotta and Senigallia. Almost the entire coastline between these places is filled with hotels, restaurants, and a number of beach bars where you for a day or a week chairs, sunbeds and parasols for hire. Many of these beaches have Bandiera Blu, a quality mark that is given to clean beaches. Further afield you will find the beaches of Pesaro and the beaches along the Park of Monte San Bartolo. Pesaro one strung ribbon of chairs and umbrellas belonging to the beach tents and along the rocky and steep coast in the nature quieter beaches without entertainment.

A bit further away, just below Ancona you find the nature of the Conero with white chalk cliffs and beautiful coves. In the hills of the Conero and the coastal towns such Sirolo and Numana.

Villages

Around Barchi will find a number of villages such Orciano and Mondavio with nice restaurants. Both Barchi itself and in the surrounding villages you will find a supermarket and many other small shops in every village one or more bars and summer each village has its own summer festivals that always end with a beautiful fireworks.

Fossombrone, 10 km from Barchi is an ancient Roman town where on a warm day go shopping under the arcades.

Walking and cycling

Le Marche is especially suitable for walking activities. Near Barchi you can make beautiful walks and bike rides. The paths (Sentieri) are easily accessible and the trails are clearly marked with signage. We have different maps with routes ready for you.

Skiing and snowboarding

Skiing can be a half hour drive from La Giravolta on Monte Catria. There are all new facilities constructed such as new lifts on the 9 km of pistes! Of course you while skiing enjoy delicious snacks and drinks from Le Marche in the restaurant on the slopes. Skis or snowboards can be rented on site.
